The TriggerHub Sheffield Steeldogs are hours away from getting to IceSheffield ahead of the first Yorkshire Derby this regular season. The Steeldogs want to see IceSheffield as busy as possible.
STEELDOGS END LAST WEEKEND POSITIVELY
Last weekend the Steeldogs were on the road in Swindon on Saturday. The Steeldogs struggled to get out of first gear. Swindon came out and played an amazing home game infront of their home fans.
Sunday night the Steeldogs returned home welcoming the Milton Keynes Lightning. On the Saturday MK lost at home against the Leeds Knights who came away with a 5-2 win. The Steeldogs came out a much better team after the defeat in Swindon. Olly Knaggs opened the scoring with a little tip putting the Dogs 1-0 up. Walker Sommer scored the Steeldogs’ second goal. The game went to sudden death overtime where Jonathan Phillips netted the winner and made sure the Steeldogs came away with maximum points!
