Forward Joe Matthewman joins the team ahead of the new season, bringing pace, skill, and a confident offensive presence to our line-up. A young, dynamic product of the Sheffield junior system, Joe has steadily developed through the club’s pathway, from the Stormers and Steelhawks to the Scimitars and Steeldogs, earning opportunities at every level through his hard work and consistency.

Last season saw Joe continue to impress, splitting time between the Steelhawks, Titans, and Scimitars. His standout performances in junior hockey, including a 35-point campaign with the Steelhawks U18s, underline his scoring ability and growing confidence with the puck.

Joe combines sharp skating, creativity, and a strong compete level, making him an exciting young forward with plenty of upside. His determination, skill, and team-first approach make him a valuable addition to the group, and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue his development this season.
