The TriggerHub Sheffield Steeldogs are thrilled to announce the signing of British forward András Kéhl for the 2025/26 season.
András returns to the UK after spending the past three years playing across Canada and the United States, building a reputation as a dynamic offensive talent.
During the 2022/23 season, Kéhl competed in the GMHL (Canada) with both the Mackenzie Mountaineers and the Niagara Predators. In just 12 games with the Mountaineers, he racked up an incredible 51 points (26G, 25A). He later joined the Predators for 5 games, adding another 3 points to his tally.
In 2023/24, András moved to the US to play in the USPHL Premier with the Rogue Valley Royals, where he iced 42 games, scoring 26 goals and 20 assists for a solid 46-point season.
Last season (24/25), he returned to Canada to play for the Edson Eagles in the NJHL — and what a season it was. In 38 games, he posted a phenomenal 116 points, made up of 51 goals and 65 assists, showcasing his playmaking and goal-scoring ability.

András Kéhl: “I’m really excited to be apart of the Steeldogs, Slava is an exceptional coach and I am really looking forward to taking my game to the next level under his leadership! Looking for some jewellery this season.”

Slava Koulikov: “I’m really looking forward to working with András and helping him continue to develop his game.
He’s an incredibly talented young forward with a bright future ahead of him, and his skills on the ice are truly impressive.
András has the kind of natural talent and energy that can electrify a game. It will take a little time for him to transition to senior hockey, but I have no doubt he’ll bring a lot of excitement to our fans this season.”
