“We’re thrilled to announce the signing of Brady Parker and welcome him to the Sheffield Steeldogs. Brady is a goaltender with a genuinely impressive background. He boasts strong Junior A numbers in the AJHL and experience within an NCAA programme that consistently competed for honours in the ECAC. He’s been part of high-performance systems throughout his career, and that foundation shows in the way he plays.

“Brady’s style is built on athleticism and mobility. He reads the game extremely well, moves efficiently, and has a real ability to command his crease. He’s confident handling traffic, tracks pucks through screens, and brings a calm, composed presence that lifts the players in front of him. That level of maturity and technical detail is invaluable at this level.
The move to bring Brady in, is also about giving Alex Oldale the best environment to continue growing, developing, and pushing his game to new heights. We see this as an investment in Alex as much as it is an addition to our roster.
With Alex and Brady together, we believe we’ve built one of the strongest, most balanced netminding tandems in the league. Their combined work ethic, talent, and character give us every chance to compete for honours this season, whilst creating the stability and support structure required for long-term success. – Jamie McIlroy, GM

With this roster adjustment, we will also be parting ways with Dan Crowe. Dan has been a valued member of the Steeldogs over the past couple of seasons, and we want to express our sincere thanks for his commitment, and contribution to the club. We wish Dan nothing but success moving forward.”

“I couldn’t be more excited to get things started in Sheffield. The team is off to a strong start, and I’m looking forward to contributing to that success. I’m grateful for the opportunity the organization has given me and can’t wait to play in front of our incredible fans!” – #34 Brady Parker
