Dante Salituro brings an impressive offensive pedigree and a wealth of professional experience to the Sheffield Steeldogs.

Born in North York, Ontario, Salituro was a standout throughout his Major Junior career in the Ontario Hockey League, spending the majority of his time with the Ottawa 67’s before finishing with the London Knights. His performances earned him the opportunity to progress into the professional game, where he went on to play in both the American Hockey League and ECHL.

Salituro later took his career to Europe, building an extensive CV across several established hockey nations. His journey has included spells in Finland, Norway, France, Slovakia, Germany and Poland, competing in leagues including Finland’s Liiga, France’s Ligue Magnus and the Slovak Extraliga.

A creative, skilful forward capable of playing both centre and wing, Salituro has built his reputation on his offensive instincts, ability to create opportunities and an eye for goal. He combines that ability with the experience gained from more than a decade of Major Junior and professional hockey.

After spending the 2025/26 season with Chamonix in France, Salituro made the move to British hockey for the first time when he joined the Steeldogs ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Now wearing #67 in Sheffield, Salituro adds proven quality, experience and another significant offensive threat to the Steeldogs line-up.
