The TriggerHub Sheffield Steeldogs are thrilled to confirm the re-signing of forward Brady Doxey for the upcoming 2025/2026 season.
A familiar and well-respected presence on and off the ice, Brady enters his sixth season with the Steeldogs. Since first joining the team during the 2017/2018 campaign, he has become a key part of the Steeldogs’ roster.

Brady Doxey on re-signing for his sixth season:
“Proud to be signing on for another year with the Dogs.
It’s an honour to represent this club, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. I’ve grown a lot here, and I’m committed to giving everything I have — for my teammates and the fans who’ve backed us every step of the way.”
Jamie Mcilroy – Steeldogs GM:
“When looking at the players we wanted to retain from last Season, Brady was one of the first names identified. He can perform any role required on the roster and can be utilised on any line. He’s got a relentless work ethic and is very much a ‘team first’ guy. This was emphasised at the End of Season Awards Night where he picked up the ‘Players’ Player’ and ‘Unsung Hero’ Awards.
He plays hard and is willing to do the dirty work that some players shy away from. His teammates value what he brings to the line up and it’s imperative to have players of his mould on the roster. I’m glad that he feels Sheffield is where he belongs, and I’m certain that we see him take another step forward in his development under the tutelage of Slava and the group that we have assembled.”

Fans can look forward to seeing Brady in action at IceSheffield as the Steeldogs gear up for what promises to be another exciting campaign.
