The TriggerHub Sheffield Steeldogs are thrilled to announce the return of Jack Brammer for the 2025/26 season!
A true fan favourite, Brammer has become a key part of the Steeldogs family both on and off the ice. Known for his gritty determination, and ability to lift the energy of any game, Jack has consistently impressed with his two-way play last season and his commitment to the badge.
Jack joined the Steeldogs for the 2019–2020 season, where he recorded 7 points in 37 games as a 17-year-old. He later spent part of the 2021–2022 season playing in Sweden with Malungs IF, before returning to the Steeldogs later that same season.

“I’m happy to be back with the Steeldogs next season there’s no place like home, coming into my 6th year with the club and my desire to win silverware hasn’t died .
It was a no-brainer when Slava got in touch. It’ll be great playing under him, as we’ve all seen over the years what he can do with his coaching skills and his record of winning trophies . It’s our time again to bring some silverware back to Sheffield!”

General Manager Jamie McIlroy:
“Jack is Sheffield through-and-through. He’s come up through our system, made his debut with us as a teenager, and has worn the Steeldogs jersey with pride ever since. Myself and Slava have spoken to Jack about what we expect from him this season. It’s not just about what he brings on the ice, but also about his leadership within the group, even at a young age.
We believe it’s vital to have players in the locker room who truly understand what it means to be a Steeldog. With several newer faces joining the squad, Jack will play a key role in mentoring and nurturing those players, helping them settle into our culture and approach.
Brammer’s hard-working style, commitment to the cause, and knowledge of the club’s ethos make him a crucial component of the 2025/26 roster. As the team enters an exciting new chapter under Slava, Jack’s presence will help bridge the past and future of the club, ensuring the Steeldogs continue to build with a strong foundation.
We’re proud to have Jack back in the fold and can’t wait to see him back in action at Ice Sheffield.”
