Jonathan “JK” Kirk (born 21 August 1995 in Maltby, England) is a British ice hockey defenceman and captain of the Sheffield Steeldogs in the NIHL. A product of the Sheffield junior system, Kirk began his senior career with the Steeldogs before spending time with the Hull Pirates, where he developed into a reliable two-way defenceman.

Since rejoining Sheffield, Kirk has become a cornerstone of the club’s blue line, known for his leadership, calm presence under pressure, and ability to transition play effectively from defence to attack. With over 160 appearances for the Steeldogs, he continues to be an influential figure both on and off the ice, helping to guide the team’s younger players and drive its competitive spirit.
