The puck dropped in Hull, the Steeldogs and Seahawks resumed their rivalry.

After getting settled early, the Dogs took a lead through a Vulkanovs goal. Following this Hull began to be more involved and Crowe was called upon to stand tall. Dmitri Zimozdra is in net for the second period; he gets a couple of early touches of the puck and he’s in the zone. Both teams giving the opposing goalies some work to do, but lacking just lacking the final touch. 2-2

The third period began with an early goal for Hull, Chamberlain the scorer.

The Steeldogs didn’t take too long to get back on level terms, Vulkanovs with the equaliser. In fact the Assistant Captain was turning Hull’s defence inside out at this point of the game.

But from here on in, the home team began to take more control. The Dogs gave up a 3 on 1 for Hull to score with ease. Svec capitalised on the break and with time ticking down, Ulrick scored an empty net goal to complete the game. Seahawks 5-3 Steeldogs
