Speed. That’s the first thing that comes to mind when describing Nathan Ripley — a fast, hard-working winger who combines skill, energy, and determination. A product of the Sheffield and South Yorkshire hockey system, Nathan spent time developing in Canada before returning home to make an impact with the Steeldogs.

He has become an integral part of the team’s forward lines, contributing 38 points in 58 games during the 2024/25 season. His blend of pace, work ethic, and offensive instinct makes him a constant threat in all situations.

Nathan has also featured in the Elite Ice Hockey League with Coventry Blaze, where standout performances — including a hat-trick that earned him EIHL Team of the Week honours — showcased his ability to perform at the highest level.
