Oliver “Ollie” Knaggs joins the Sheffield Steeldogs for the 2025–26 NIHL season, bringing youthful energy and growing experience to the blue line. A product of the Milton Keynes Storm junior system, he progressed steadily through the British development pathway, earning early senior experience in NIHL 1 before establishing himself as a dependable young defenceman.

Over the past two seasons with the Berkshire Bees, Knaggs became a regular fixture on defence, featuring in both league and cup competitions. His consistent play, composure under pressure, and willingness to learn earned him strong praise from coaches and teammates alike, marking him out as one of the league’s promising home-grown defenders.

Now stepping up to the Steeldogs, Ollie looks to build on that foundation and continue his development under Slava Koulikov. Known for his smart positional play and calm presence at the back, he adds reliability and determination to Sheffield’s defensive unit and is eager to make a strong impression in the National Division this season.
