Defenceman Ollie Turner re-joins the team ahead of the new season, bringing strength, composure, and valuable experience to the blue line. A homegrown product of the Sheffield junior system, Ollie began his journey with Nottingham before joining the Sheffield junior system with the Stormers and Steelhawks before progressing through the Scimitars and into the NIHL with the Sheffield Steeldogs, where he’s spent the past several seasons developing his game at senior level.

Since breaking into the NIHL as a teenager, Ollie has established himself as a defensively sound presence, known for his positioning, and willingness to play a physical, team-first style. His steady development through the British pathway highlights both his commitment and his understanding of the game.

Ollie’s defensive awareness, calm puck management, and strong compete level make him a dependable addition to the line-up. With his experience across all levels of the Sheffield programme, he adds stability and leadership to the group, and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue to grow this season.
