It’s September 1st, which means it is officially hockey month for the DSM Sheffield Steeldogs!
The Steeldogs begin their 2026/2027 campaign this coming weekend with a home and away double-header against Solway IHC.
Solway already have two full weeks of pre-season games under their belts, facing both the Blackburn Hawks and Edinburgh Capitals and winning all four of their games.
They will be looking to continue their winning run when the Steeldogs make the trip north to Dumfries on Saturday for the opening game of the double-header.
Then, on Sunday evening, we return to home ice for the first time this season as Solway make the trip to IceSheffield for the return fixture.
