Safe Haven have been part of the Steeldogs family for the last few years, and we’re delighted to welcome them back for the 2026/27 campaign.
All about Safe Haven
Safe Haven Adolescent Care Group Ltd is an Ofsted-registered, specialist therapeutic provider offering single-occupancy children’s homes designed to replicate the warmth and stability of a family setting. We are proud to have an exceptional reputation, with our homes having achieved a ‘GOOD’ or ‘OUTSTANDING’ rating by Ofsted – a reflection of the consistent, high-quality outcomes we achieve.
We currently operate four homes, each supported by a small team of therapeutically trained adults. This intentional staffing model allows for the development of deep, trusting relationships that foster emotional security and healing.
Every child in our care brings a unique set of strengths, needs, and life experiences. We tailor each care plan to the individual, creating bespoke support packages that are regularly reviewed to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
Our therapeutic ethos is at the heart of everything we do. We prioritise training and collaboration with experts, including those with lived experience, to ensure our staff are equipped with the knowledge and empathy needed to provide exceptional care.
In partnership with Children’s Homes Quality, we embed the Loving Care model into our daily practice. This approach promotes openness, honesty, and mutual respect – helping children feel safe, valued, and heard. Training is provided around key areas such as attachment, trauma, safeguarding, and therapeutic language, to ensure this model is fully understood and lived out by our teams.
We also work closely with Chrysalis Associates, an Ofsted-registered, Outstanding provider of therapeutic services. Chrysalis deliver comprehensive support for both children and staff, including assessments, direct therapy, consultations, and bespoke training.
