Earlier this morning, the club confirmed the return of Nathan Salem for the 2026/2027 season.
Salem rejoins the Steeldogs following a year on the sidelines as he worked his way back from injury, and his return adds a proven, high-impact player back into the line-up. Having previously iced for the club between 2018 and 2021, Salem is no stranger to Sheffield and will bring both familiarity and quality back into the group.
“I’m really excited to be coming back to Sheffield next season. The club has changed a lot since I was last there and has a lot of new faces. I’m looking forward to the new challenges and hopefully we can build on the team’s success from last season. It’s been a long time off for me, but I’m excited to get back out there and contribute to the team.”
