Yesterday, a team of volunteers put in a long and hard-working day preparing the fresh ice ahead of this Sunday’s game.
Starting at 6am on Thursday morning, the team spent more than 12 hours working from one end of the rink to the other, carefully preparing and painting the logos onto the new ice.
And for the first time in a long while, the Steeldogs logo is back on the ice ahead of the new season. 🧡
A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time and worked tirelessly to get the rink ready for Sunday’s Yorkshire Derby.
We can’t wait to see the Steeldogs skating on the new ice.
Who’s on the ice?
For the first time in a while, the Steeldogs logo is back on the IceSheffield ice alongside our title sponsors, DSM.
The pad where the Steeldogs play is named the Bauer Arena, with the Bauer logo taking pride of place at centre ice.
Across the ice, you will also find the logos of TQ Environmental, Steelers Sports Bar, Puck Stop, UNISON, My Health Pal, Rhino, Everyone Active, Rachel Bedford, Dizzyfish and Vidcastic.
