Earlier this summer, the DSM Sheffield Steeldogs announced the signing of Nathan Salem from the Peterborough Phantoms.
Nathan hadn’t played a competitive game since April 20th 2025, when he featured in the Playoff Final in Coventry. That weekend, Nathan was regarded by many as the player of the weekend.
Nathan spent the entirety of last season on the sidelines through injury, with the injury requiring surgery and keeping him away from the game for a long period of time.
After 504 days away from competitive action, Nathan finally returned to the ice last Sunday against Solway.
The club are delighted to have Nathan back in a Steeldogs jersey for the 2026/27 season and are excited to see what he can bring following his long-awaited return.
