This afternoon, the club confirmed the re-signing of import defenceman CJ Garcia on a new two-year deal, keeping him in Sheffield until 2028.
In what represents a major statement of intent from the organisation, Garcia commits his future to Sheffield after an outstanding debut season in the NIHL National League.
“I’m delighted to be signing back with the Sheffield Steeldogs and continuing my journey here. There’s a real sense of momentum building in Sheffield, and it’s exciting to be part of a group that’s pushing in the right direction. I’m looking forward to the season ahead and to contributing everything I can on and off the ice. Hopefully, we can bring even more success and trophies to the club over the next few years.”
