Telford currently sit 3rd in the league after playing 11 games. In the cup table they sit in 2nd behind the Steeldogs. Telford have started their 2025/2026 campaign really strongly. The Steeldogs expect a hard-fought and tough contest this evening. Both David Thomson and Eric Henderson have both left of where they finished last season. They are in the top 5 points scorers. Thomson sits on 24 points and Henderson is behind him on 21 points. Telford acquired a couple of Steeldogs in the summer. Notably one of the names is Tate Shudra and the other is Ben Norton.
As for the Steeldogs their 2025/2026 season got of to a great start but then they hit a bump in the road. In the last couple of weeks performances have picked up and the team has really come together giving the fans some great hockey to watch. Last weekend was a prime example of what this Steeldogs team can do. Saturday night beating the Pitbulls 6-3 and then on Sunday in Leeds beating the Knights 6-2 which shocked the whole league. Two performances that the Steeldogs will be proud of. We hope to see this momentum carry on into this 3 game week!
